The New Woodend Star Committee publishes and circulates 3340 copies of the New Woodend Star throughout Woodend and nearby communities. There are 11 issues of The New Woodend Star every year, corresponding with a monthly release and a joint December/January issue.
Advertising in the New Woodend Star is a great way to promote your business. With low prices regardless of your final position in the star (determined by lottery), you can be sure your business exposure will rise.
Advertising Rates
Purchasing a year-long (11-edition) run attracts a 10% discount. All prices include GST and is priced per edition (per month).

Inserting of your own Brochure (printing not included) $246 Inc. GST Up to A4. No more than 120gsm paper

Submission
Once you have finalised arranging your advertising, you need to submit it to our editor before the 15th of the month prior to publishing. Further submission guidelines, and information about what qualifies as a completed artwork submission can be found on our Advertising Submission page.
Please note — it is in your interest to book and pay for a year in advance, as a 10% discount applies to any full year pre-paid booking. Any existing pre-paid ads will move to the new rate on completion of the prepaid period.

Advertising Cancellations
Changes to advertisements, new advertisements or cancellations must all be made by email or in writing. All advertisements will be placed and charged for until notified otherwise. Deadline for cancellation of advertising is the 15th of the month prior to publishing.
